Hacksaw Ridge Movie
What makes a movie great is that movies can touch the audience's hearts especially when the movie is emotional and based on a true story. When a movie pulls you into the story and you find yourself emotionally too into the character that's when you know a movie is great. I recently went to go see the movie Hacksaw Ridge and I loved it. Since I'm a big fan of action/war movies I decided to go watch Hacksaw Ridge. I'm really glad I did because it's one of my favorite movies right now. The movie Hacksaw Ridge is an inspiring true story about conscientious objector Desmond T. Doss who saved 75 men in Okinawa during one of the bloodiest battles during World War 2. What I found absolutely amazing about this story is that when he saved those men, he didn't get shot once. He was a Christian who didn't believe in violence and guns. He was the only American soldier to fight in the war without a single weapon. He was the army medic who would evacuate the wounded near enemy lines, without caring that he was putting his own life at risk. By doing that he was the first conscientious objector to ever win a Congressional Medal of honor.
